How this works: an entity is created when ≥2 genuinely independent publishers report it (syndication & PR copies collapse to one) — then the fact miner reads its sources and mints facts per-claim, each carrying its own tier: vendor-claimed when only a press release states it about a third party (not independently corroborated, confidence capped at 0.70), first-party when the subject describes ITSELF in its own press release (its own CEO, HQ, manufacturer… — same epistemic class as an SEC filing, confidence capped at 0.80), corroborated at ≥2 agreeing publishers, promoted ⭐ at ≥5 (contribute-back grade). Sensitive claims are held for review, never auto-published. The 📜 archive lane (1.38M entities) is a one-time sweep of the 2016–2026 GEG news archive — a batch job, not a live discovery; the live lane keeps growing on 30-min timers. The 📦 products lane is entities discovered in press releases; their facts are vendor-claimed or first-party until independently corroborated.
