Hermann Göring was a German politician, air force officer, and military officer who served as Vice-Chancellor of Germany from 1941 to 1945 and Minister President of Prussia from 1933 to 1945. Born on January 12, 1893, in Rosenheim, he was the son of Franziska Tiefenbrunn and had one sibling, Albert Göring. Göring was educated at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, the Royal Prussian Main Cadet Institute, and the Royal Prussian Cadet House Karlsruhe. His religion was Lutheranism.
